Chipmunk Chase, a two-bedroom, two-story cabin in Gatlinburg’s Arts and Crafts area, is an absolute delight. From the huge wraparound deck complete with hot tub and patio table to the pool table and free WiFi, everything about the home is designed to make your stay as comfortable, convenient, and fun as possible.

The woodlands surrounding Chipmunk Chase are stunning. You can admire the vistas day and night from the deck’s rockers and porch swing (absolute must-haves for a true mountain cabin experience). You can eat your meals alfresco too, at the deck’s handsome dining table, as well as cook them on the outdoor charcoal grill; the fresh mountain breeze makes everything taste better! You can even soak in the deck’s hot tub while soaking up nature’s beauty. Gazing up at the star-studded sky while luxuriating among the steamy jets of water is an experience you’ll long remember.

Even while you’re indoors you can continue to admire the scenery, courtesy of the great room’s bevy of large windows. Space itself is a stunner: towering cathedral ceiling, hand-laid stone fireplace, wood-planked walls, luxe leather seating. There’s room for everyone to watch a movie or the big game on the 42” flat-panel TV. And, the recliner will become the go-to spot for reading or surf the web.

The great room has its own dining area, with a table that seats four and a breakfast bar that accommodates another four. A breakfast bar is also a handy place for guests to perch as they help with meal prep… or at least keep the cook company! The kitchen is equipped with all your major (and not-so-major) appliances, pots, pans, tableware… The only things you need to bring are food and an appetite!

Upstairs is another great space for hanging out after dinner: the game room. Although the full-size billiard table is the centerpiece of the room, you don’t need to shoot pool to enjoy kicking back with friends while listening to music on the CD player/stereo and enjoying the bird's eye views.

One of Chipmunk Chase’s two en-suite bedrooms is upstairs as well. Both this bedroom and the one on the main level have a sumptuous king-size bed, a flat-panel TV, a ceiling fan (its gentle breeze is sure to lull you to sleep), and a roomy full bathroom. The upstairs suite does have one added luxury: a jetted tub in the bathroom. You’ll really look forward to a long soak after a day of skiing, hiking, white-water rafting, or fishing.

In addition to the two bedrooms, Chipmunk Chase has a daybed with trundle in the game room that converts to a bed for two. One of the great room’s sofas opens into a bed for 2 as well, so that up to eight people can spend the night.

When you’re not sleeping (or soaking in the hot tub, or playing pool…), you’ll probably want to be out and about, exploring all that the area has to offer. Chipmunk Chase’s location makes that a breeze. You can drive to downtown Gatlinburg in 10 minutes, and if you’d prefer not to deal with parking and the like, the cabin is near a stop for the trolley that’ll take you straight to town. Once you’re in town, you can visit the aquarium or the Guinness World Records Museum, play mini golf, check out restaurants and breweries, and so much more. The Rocky Top Sports Complex is also a short drive away!

Chipmunk Chase is also convenient to the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops; the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, on bike, on horseback, or by car; the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area; Dollywood… the list goes on.
