Buckhorn
Where you'll be
Description
The vaulted ceilings give you extra open space that helps you just luxuriate in this natural setting. Sit in front of the stone fireplace with a great book or play games with the kids. Of course the hot tub is just a few feet away where you can enjoy the jets as they soften up those muscles after a day of hiking in the area, shopping or just checking out the sights in downtown Gatlinburg.
Buckhorn has everything to prepare your meals in it as well. If you want to try some down-home cooking, everything you would want to do so is right here. The rockers on the deck are an inviting place for everyone to gather and plan your day’s activities or to recall your favorite memories of each day.
Gatlinburg is home of the Great Smoky Mountains and much history. Drive through Cades Cove and see the deer playing nearby, or stop at one of the churches along the way that was the worship center for some of the first settlers here. Dollywood Theme Park is close by as well as Ober Gatlinburg with its attractions and ski resort. If you are really adventurous, make plans to go whitewater rafting or horseback riding.
Whatever you decide, whether a stroll in the area or just shopping, everything is within close proximity. So come on and start your vacation by booking Buckhorn now. You won’t regret it. See you soon!

Beware of the roadway to cabin (full of deep potholes), along with the driveway at the end (extremely steep and slippery); new tv needed in main living area (the one there is an old projection); new toilets needed (the ones there are small child-size and very low to ground)

This was our second trip to the Buckhorn. The cabin was very clean. The drive up to the cabin is quite rough. The toilet seat was loose and had to be tightened frequently. We enjoyed our stay and saw a bear from the back deck.

We loved our stay at Buckhorn! It was perfectly tucked in the back of the road in the mountains with no thru traffic! The only down sides was the floor creaked, the door was hard to lock and raccoons got into our trash can on the outside porch. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin overall! Highly recommend

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. Only 2 complaints we have is the road getting to it…all the potholes and ruts were very deep. Always made sure we took it very slow. And the fitted sheet didn't fit the bed very well, kept coming off in the night. Other than those 2 things it was perfect!!
