Where you'll be
Description
The five bedrooms are spread out among Gatlinburg Getaway’s three floors. Each includes a flat-panel HDTV with a DVD player, a full bathroom, and ample storage. One suite, which makes up the entire top floor, has both a king-size bed and a sofa that opens into a bed for two more. The main floor and the lower level each have two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a pair of queen-size beds. The downstairs game room’s sofa bed can sleep another two guests, and both sofas in the main floor’s great room open into beds for two.
If there are kids in your group, they might clamor to make the game room their bedroom. Along with a full-size pool table, the room has an air-hockey table, a large flat-panel TV with DVD player, and a stone-surround gas fireplace. There’s a large table as well, perfect for business confabs and poker games alike.
The game room offers plenty of space for everyone to congregate, but it’s not Gatlinburg Getaway’s only sizable gathering spot. The great room on the main floor has plush seating for kicking back and watching TV or warming up by yet another fireplace. In addition, there’s a dining table that easily seats ten and a breakfast bar for three more. The breakfast bar is also a handy spot for helping with meal prep—and once you see how roomy and well equipped the kitchen is, you might be more than happy to get cooking.
Gatlinburg Getaway has an outdoor charcoal grill as well, plus several picnic tables—both on one of the decks and in the front yard—so that you can dine in the fresh air, the spectacular mountain views, and the singing of wrens and warblers. The two large decks, in fact, may become your favorite spot for relaxing with friends and family. You can gaze at the mountains and woodlands from the porch swings, the many rockers and Adirondack chairs, and most luxurious of all, the lower deck’s roomy hot tub. Is there anything as relaxing and rejuvenating as soaking among steamy jets of water while listening to the breeze rustle through the trees? We don’t think so!
Gatlinburg Getaway is located in the Black Bear Falls Log Cabin Community, giving you complimentary access to its amenities. Enjoy the clubhouse with a meeting room for up to fifty people, and in the summer, take advantage of the heated adult and kids’ swimming pools.
There’s so much to enjoy at the lodge itself, you could happily while away your entire stay on its premises. But then you’d be missing out on all the unique attractions the area has to offer. At the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you can hike, bike, and ride horses among wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls. Downtown Gatlinburg offers a wealth of restaurants—dig into a juicy steak one night, barbecue ribs the next, and everything from pizza to pancakes in between—along with an aquarium, mini golf, and other attractions (the Guinness World Records Museum, anyone?). Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, go-karting, zip-lining, golf, and so much more are only a short drive away.
Whether you’re visiting for work, pleasure, or a bit of both, Gatlinburg Getaway is an ideal home base. See for yourself: Book your stay today!

This cabin was perfect for our family. Beautiful views and space to spread out. We had 9 adults and 2 kids. The description on the website was very accurate. When preparing to come I read the other reviews. I thought the welcome starter supplies were nice. We brought supplies: soaps and paper products. We didn’t expect those to be furnished for the week. There is only one refrigerator. (The ONLY negative for a group our size). We stored drinks at room temperature and rotated them in as we took one out. There were enough dishes, glasses, cups, bowls and silverware for our group of 11. I brought a crockpot with me. There is a blender on hand. Our week was a mixture of activities in Gatlinburg & Great Smokey Nat’l Park and relaxing at the cabin. We were removed from town and had peaceful surroundings and at the same time close enough to activities without spending more than 30 mins in the car getting there. We all said we would love to stay at this cabin again!
