What makes Take It Easy such a special cabin? It has three en-suite bedrooms, for starters, and can sleep 12 people in all. Its amenities include an outdoor hot tub, a home theater and a pool table. Its two wrap-around decks offer panoramic views of the woodlands, yet the cabin is just a five-minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Perhaps most striking, with two full kitchens and dining areas, Take It Easy is especially well suited for two families vacationing together.

The great room makes up most of Take It Easy’s main floor. And what a great room it is, with a towering cathedral ceiling, lustrous wood-planked walls and floor and large windows to let in plenty of sunshine. The two roll-arm sofas by the fireplace are sure to be popular spots for relaxing with an après-ski drink in winter or for watching TV after a day spent at Dollywood.

The great room also encompasses the main dining area. Six guests can sit at the dining table, and four more can belly up to the breakfast bar. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the main kitchen. Open and roomy, it is equipped with just about every appliance, gadget, pot and pan you could possibly need.

Downstairs is the second kitchen, part of the game room. In addition to a full-size pool table and a foosball table, the game room also includes a dining area and a large sitting area with its own flat-screen TV. This setup provides maximum versatility. The whole gang can hang out together, or if you’re vacationing with another family, you can each enjoy private meals and quiet time on your own. It really is the best of all worlds!

Also downstairs is the home theater. There are enough cinema-style seats for everyone to kick back and enjoy a movie together, with surround sound to enhance the experience. If you get thirsty or need more popcorn, you can help yourself in the second kitchen downstairs.

Each of Take It Easy’s three bedrooms includes a king-size bed, a TV and its own full bathroom. The loft bedroom has bunk beds as well as a king-size bed. You might want to have all the kids in your group commandeer this space, they’ll feel as if they’re on a camping adventure! One of the sofas in the great room opens into a bed for two, as does a couch in the game room—after all, the more the merrier!

With two huge wrap-around decks, Take It Easy’s outdoor spaces are as accommodating as its interior. Savor your morning coffee outside on a rocker as wrens and warblers greet the day. Enjoy appetizers and drinks as the sun sets or listen to the serenading owls beneath the star-studded sky before turning in for the night. Perhaps best of all, luxuriate among the steamy, massaging waters of the hot tub after a day of hiking, biking or horseback riding.

As you relax with friends on the deck while the mountain breeze rustles through the trees, you might find it hard to believe that Take It Easy is just five minutes from the attraction-packed Pigeon Forge Parkway, but it is! This means you can get to everything from Dollywood to the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster to dinner theaters in a flash. The cabin is also less than a half-hour from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, and Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area.

When you stay at Take It Easy, you can enjoy your vacation your way. Explore the great outdoors one day, laze among the cabin’s luxuries the next, take in a show or do some shopping the day after. However you spend your time, you’re sure to make memories that last a lifetime. So don’t miss out: Book your stay today!

No where in the description did it say that the driveway would be unaccommodating to a 15 passenger van. In fact, it says that it has room for three cars. Upon receiving access information, it does note that 4x4 is recommended, especially in inclement weather. I reached out via email to VTrips for more information and received NO response. Upon arrival to our rental, we bravely drove up the massive incline (easily 35-40 degrees) fully expecting a substantial parking pad at the top given the notation that it would accommodate three cars. We were sorely astonished to find the area available to turn the van around was barely adequate. We needed to inch back and forth multiple times to get out our vehicle down. From that time on, as we came and went we opted to keep our van parked near the mouth of the driveway. Unfortunately, the properties just adjacent to this driveway are disheveled at best, with numerous vehicles coming and going all day and night. Finally, en route to the house I received a text stating that our entry code was changed to a different code. As we tried to open the door with the new code, it would not work. I then had to pull up the other information that I had dismissed because I had received a new code, and use those numbers. I reached out via text to ask about the change and received no response then, either. After being asked how our stay was going I was THEN encouraged to reach out to talk. At that point, I was busy enjoying time with my family. We have rented 1-4 rental homes annually since 2003 (minus 2020) and consider ourselves very flexible with properties. We were disappointed with lack of communication, and the lack of information about the parking situation.

Close to dollywood. Property as described. Steep driveway. Could use some larger bakeware/cookware. Kids loved loft and theater room. Kids wished we had more time to just play at cabin. Hot tub great for end of day
