Where you'll be
Description
A spacious four-bedroom, four-bathroom lodge, Always an Adventure sleeps up to 15 people—and a pet or two as well. Three of the bedrooms, including the en-suite primary, feature king-size beds are located upstairs. The fourth bedroom includes a queen-size bed is downstairs. What’s more, just off the den are twin-over-full-size bunk beds, and two of the home’s sofas open into beds for two. The variety of sleeping accommodations makes Always an Adventure able to host a family reunion, a church retreat, a wedding party or a couples’ getaway with ease.
Among the rooms where the group can hang out together is the main floor’s living room. With two well-cushioned leather couches and two equally comfortable armchairs, it offers plenty of seating. When you’re not watching a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable and Netflix you can play charades by the fireplace or admire the mountains through the French doors leading out to a deck.
Equally inviting is the downstairs den, which has its own TV and fireplace as well as plush seating. For a movie marathon or to watch the big game, head to Always an Adventure’s home theater, with its oversize screen. The roomy chairs are so pampering, you might want to relax here even when you’re not watching TV. Bring a book or your laptop to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi.
There’s plenty more to keep everyone entertained in the game room. Play a round of pool at the full-size pool table, plus there’s an arcade table, air hockey and skee ball. You might find yourself hoping for a rainy day simply so you have an excuse to stay indoors and play them all.
After a few spirited games of ping-pong or air hockey you’re bound to work up an appetite. Fortunately, Always an Adventure’s open, roomy kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, gadgets and tableware you’ll need, plus plenty of counter space and elbow room. One of the counters also serves as a breakfast bar that can seat four people, and the adjacent dining table seats six more. From Spring through Autumn, you might prefer to dine alfresco, either on the decks or at the porch’s picnic table. Not only are the decks covered, but they boast ceiling fans as well, so you can linger out there even during the height of summer. And just off the porch is a charcoal grill, for those who like to cook as well as eat outside.
Always an Adventure’s outdoor spaces include a patio with a fire pit. There’s nothing quite like gathering around a crackling fire beneath a star-studded sky, toasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and making memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re romantically inclined, you might want to luxuriate in the patio’s hot tub or snuggle on the deck swing, just the two of you in the silvery moonlight. The crickets and owls will provide nature’s serenade.
As you revel in the serenity, privacy, and beautiful scenery of Always an Adventure, you could easily forget that the lodge is within minutes of the area’s most popular attractions. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Bent Creek Golf Course and Climb Works, where you can zipline over the mountains, are no more than 10 minutes away. Less than 20 minutes away is the eight-mile trail of studios, galleries, and shops that is the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community. Only a bit beyond that is downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions include SkyLift Park, home to the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America.
When you stay at Always an Adventure, you’ll never be bored. But thanks to pampering amenities such as a hot tub, as well as the glorious setting, you’ll also be able to relax and relish time with family and friends. Don’t miss out—make your reservation today.
A Convenient EV outlet with 220 voltage (50 amp) and 120 voltage has been added to parking area.

Enjoyed this place with a large groups and lots of kids. Plenty of space. Beautiful view and we spent a lot of time on the porch. Only negative was the TVs were very hard to control or didn’t work. The theatre room tv was blocked and we couldn’t figure out how to bypass. Other than some spiderwebs that needed cleaning, the place was very nice and we enjoyed it.

It is a great location if you like the outdoors. It is close to hiking and fishing. However, if you prefer to be close to all the Pigeon Forge activities, you should stay elsewhere. We love the outdoors ourselves. River Rat Rafting was amazing!
