Blue Mist View is a perfectly located home base for your Gatlinburg vacation. From its wraparound deck you can gaze out at trees and the Great Smoky Mountains, yet the 2-bedroom cabin is only minutes from the excitement of downtown.

A one-story, chalet-style log cabin, Blue Mist View is part of the 43-acre Black Bear Falls Log Home Community. When you stay here between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can swim in the resort’s heated pools—one for kids and the other for adults. There’s also a poolside lounge area and a clubhouse with free WiFi.

What’s more, the resort—and Blue Mist View—is close to just about everything the area has to offer. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Wild Bear Falls Water Park, the Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park, restaurants, mini golf, thrill rides, shops, and more are within a 15-minute radius. Even the attractions of Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood, are less than a half-hour away.

Another benefit of Blue Mist View’s location are the glorious vistas. Mountains, towering old-growth trees, seemingly endless skies: They’re all visible from the spacious deck and from inside the cabin too. Bring your morning coffee outside, kick back on one of the deck rockers, and listen to chickadees greet the day as the mist rises above the mountains. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the deck while oohing and aahing at the sunset. And perhaps best of all, reward yourself at the end of an action-packed day with a soothing soak in the deck’s hot tub under a canopy of stars: It’s a delight for body and soul.

The inside of Blue Mist View is just as restful as its deck. Once you sink into the great room’s perfectly cushioned couch, you may not want to get back up. While you’re spread out on the sofa, you can watch a movie on the large flat-screen HDTV, surf the web via the free WiFi, or simply bask in the warmth of the stacked-stone fireplace.

Dining out is often a vacation highlight, and there are scores of restaurants within minutes of Blue Mist View. Sometimes, though, it’s more relaxing (and certainly more budget-friendly) to dine in. The cabin’s dining table, positioned by large windows facing the mountains, seats 6 with ease. Just as important, the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, even if you’re planning a gourmet feast. And if it’s barbecue you want, you can cook on the charcoal grill right outside. The fresh mountain breeze is the perfect seasoning!

Each of Blue Mist View’s 2 bedrooms has a queen-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and its own full bathroom. There’s no short straw when it comes to choosing bedrooms, which makes the cabin as well suited for 2 couples as it is for a family. The wood-planked walls, the high sloped ceilings, and the gentle breeze of the ceiling fans practically guarantee a great night’s sleep. If you have additional guests, you can pull out the living room sofa, which converts into a queen-size bed.

When you stay at Blue Mist View, you can pack light. We’ll provide plenty of clean linens and towels, so you don’t have to bring your own; in fact, you’ll arrive to find the beds impeccably made up, so if you want to make a map your first order of business, you can. And, the cabin has its own washer and dryer; here’s your chance to return home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!

Close to everything, packed with modern conveniences, and in full view of nature’s grandeur, Blue Mist View has it all. You can have it all too—simply book your stay today!

Be prepared for an extremely steep driveway. Vehicles with mid to low bumpers will scrape the pavement.

Clean, very pretty, great views, quiet and relaxing. Be prepared for the steep drive. It is no trouble to get up it, but you can not tell if your neighbors are coming down at the same time. Overall, wonderful stay!

The property was very well maintained and had a homely feel to it. We spent a lot of time in it and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities. The only thing I\'d recommend as an improvement is additional bathroom amenities such as extra soaps and towels.  Still, overall very nice. Very tranquil. Will definitely come back.
