During the day you can watch falcons and eagles soar across the sky while chickadees, wrens, and warblers try to outsing one another; at night the owls and whip-poor-wills will serenade as you pick out constellations in the star-studded sky. Smoky Haven’s rockers and porch swing are idyllic spots for relishing nature’s beauty. Even better, perhaps, is the upper deck’s hot tub. Especially after a day of hiking, skiing, fishing, or rafting, a soak among its massaging jets of water will feel so pampered.

Smoky Haven’s three bedrooms are pampering as well. Each includes a TV and a private full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms feature a luxurious king-size bed, while the third has a queen. Additional guests can sleep in either the living area or the great room: Each has a sofa that opens into a bed for two, enabling the cabin to sleep up to ten people. In addition, the home has a convenient half-bath—and speaking of convenience, it includes a washer and a dryer too.

Most convenient of all is Smoky Haven’s location. In less than ten minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Anakeesta outdoor entertainment complex, the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, mini golf, arcades, restaurants, distilleries, shops, and more. Equally close is the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 shops, galleries, and studios. And the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only fifteen minutes away.
