We have stayed in many cabins over the years. Bearly Hidden was one of my favorites. The setting next to a brisk mountain stream is very peaceful. The cabin is decorated very tastefully and was clean, however, the toilets could have used a better scrubbing out. The cabin was one of the ones rebuilt after the fire so it is only a couple of years old if that. I would not say that the kitchen is "fully equipped\"". We like to make a couple of meals in our cabin. We struggled to do so with the pots and pans available to us in Bearly Hidden. A cutting board would be useful as well. The fireplace was cute but it is not real and gives off no actual heat. So the \""let\'s build a fire\"" comment in the cabin description online was just for kicks. It was adorable and we enjoyed the ambiance it offered. A few other important things to note... the primary bedroom with the queen bed is downstairs. The pictures or descriptions do not reveal this information. The air conditioning unit is directly above the primary bed and leaked condensation water while we were sleeping under it. We ended up just turning it off and leaving it on for a couple of hours when we got home from hiking. We did let Jackson Mountain know about this. There is a ceiling fan on this level as well. The loft bed is a full as noted in the description but just keep this in mind if you are renting with two couples. The queen bed on the bottom floor needs a mattress protector on it
