We would stay here again! Starting with informational items (reading the reviews before our visit helped us prepare), then cons and finally, the pros so please read through: Not bad, just informational: 1. Per past reviews, the TV on the main level had no channels, despite the input. I had read that beforehand and brought a couple of Rokus (w HMDI connectors) so we hooked one up (borrowed a surge protector from the main level bedroom to give it power as the cord wouldnt reach to an outlet) and had TV :D. The upstairs and main bedroom had Roku TVs already. 2. Kitchen utensils were available but we have some things we prefer. So, if you have everyday utensils that you can't live without bring those items. 3. Only about 5 minutes from the Parkway. The road to the cabin is quite steep and has some big potholes in the first major curve. No problem getting there with GPS. 4X4 would be needed in winter and we chose to back in each time we drove up to make leaving easier. 4. The guest portal says that you will have paper towels, toilet paper and dish soap to last 24 hours. Even with five of us, we found that the paper items and soap either did (or would have lasted) the entire stay. We got our preferred TP and brought some dishwasher pacs but the dish soap lasted the whole trip and we didn't run out of paper towels until the last night. 5. The clothes dryer isn't very effective unless on high power and we still had to check/restart our clothes. 6. If you use ice, bring enough for at least the first day; the ice maker in the freezer works but is very slow. Cons: 1. The hot tub cover smelled of mildew and ruined the spa experience for my husband who is sensitive to smells. 2. We made use of the pull-out couch in the living room and had to borrow pillows and a blanket (in closet) from the rooms to furnish it. They had an extra set of sheets/pillow cases but we had to look around (found them wrapped in saran wrap in the main level bedroom closet). What we loved: 1. The tubs in the suites are big! No jets and they take a while to fill up but if you like baths, especially with a partner, these tubs are great. 2. The hot tub! It is big (seats 8, 7 spaces with jets) and each seat has a different jet arrangement which was really cool. I googled the display pad to find instructions for how to get it to heat and to learn about the modes/jets and so on. 3. The pool was FANTASTIC!!! After reading reviews, we were worried about the pool temperature, cover and chemical level. It is obvious that this company reads reviews and takes action--the pool was surprisingly warm every time we got in and the cover worked. It was on when we got there and we closed it every time we weren't using it--if kept open, I'm certain that it would be substantially cooler. The second day, the chemicals were causing our eyes to burn (rarely does that happen to me) but I checked-what I think was a dehumidifier- filter and saw that it was caked with sludge. Once I cleaned that and put it back in we had no more problems. I checked the filter on the morning of our 5th day and it was still clean so I believe the filter has simply been neglected for a while--check it if you have problems. Opening the balcony door f the pool isn't helpful but if you need/want more ventilation, bring a box fan. 4. We brought beach towels but were very glad that there were PLENTY of towels to support the tubs, hot tub, and pool activities. 5. The pool door code had been changed from what we were emailed but a call to guest services fixed that. The alarm system was extremely easy to use!

This cabin was beautiful and the pool was very nice, my kids loved it, everything worked as should, the only this I would say was a issue is the road that it's on, there was some pretty big holes, if you're driving a little car, you might have problems but the cabin itself is very nice, just wanted to make this comment so someone doesn't damage their vehicle and be prepared cause they are pretty steep as well. But had a great time, I would recommend staying here!
