Return To Me
3 BR | 2 Full Baths | Sleeps 8 | Wooded View
Where you'll be
Description
With its covered front porch and large rear deck, Return to Me looks like a picture-book log cabin made real. There are numerous rockers and chairs in which you can settle back and revel in the fresh mountain breeze, the singing of sparrows and wrens during the day, and the hooting of owls at night. The wooded grounds include a picnic table and a park-style charcoal grill so that you can take your meals outdoors. And the deck’s roomy hot tub is the perfect place to search for constellations in the star-studded night sky.
Return to Me’s great room is just as relaxing. The cabin was recently remodeled, and the focus on quality is apparent in the lustrous wood-planked walls, the towering vaulted ceiling and the stone-surround fireplace. The leather couch invites you to gather with family and friends and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Kick back in the recliner with a book or nestle in the glider while playing Pictionary.
The great room includes a roomy dining table that easily seats six guests. It’s just steps from the kitchen, which is equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you could possibly need. Even if you eat your meals out—and there are scores of restaurants and dinner theaters nearby—you’ll love having a kitchen at your disposal so that you can brew a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and whip up a midnight snack. It’s one of the many advantages of vacationing in a cabin instead of a cramped hotel room.
Another advantage of staying at Return to Me is the full-size pool table in the loft. The loft has a pub-style table as well if you prefer watching to playing, and there’s plenty of space for the kids to sprawl out on the carpet with their toys and games.
Each of Return to Me’s three bedrooms is outfitted in the same cozy country style as the rest of the cabin, with log-style furniture, beamed ceilings and ceiling fans to help lull you to sleep (don’t worry, the cabin has central air-conditioning as well). Each bedroom also has a TV and plenty of storage. Two of the bedrooms, including the primary, have a king-size bed while the third has a luxurious queen-size bed. And if you have additional guests, you can open the great room’s sofa into a queen-size bed, so that the cabin can sleep up to eight people in total.
Return to Me’s other amenities include two full bathrooms, a washer and a dryer and a level driveway large enough for multiple vehicles. And then there’s the convenient location. As you gaze at the Smoky Mountains and the sun-dappled trees from your deck, you might easily forget that the cabin is less than 15 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway. The town’s main thoroughfare, the parkway is home to the Titanic Museum, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Wonderworks educational amusement park, the Tanger Outlet Mall, mini golf, go-kart tracks and so much more. Also close by is the Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, shops and studios. In 20 minutes, you can drive from the cabin to both Dollywood and Parrot Mountain and Gardens. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a wonderland of wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls, is less than a half-hour away.
Whether you prefer to constantly be on the go or to take things easy, you’ll love Return to Me. Experience its pleasures for yourself, book your stay today!

Very nice cabin but the surrounding cabins had people that wasn’t pleasant. So unless that changes are the price I won’t stay here again.

I'm sorry to hear the neighbors weren't pleasant, Kim, and we will ensure that no excessive partying or loud music takes place.

The cabin itself isn’t too bad but getting there can be a challenge. I don’t blame the cabin or the owners, but the managing company is terrible. I will never book with Vtrips or Jackson Mountain Homes again. The description is fairly accurate but leaves out one very important detail. The only way into the area where this cabin is located is through a gate which you need to enter a code to access. This is separate from the code you need to access the cabin. When we first booked this property, we asked for the specific check-in procedures as we would be traveling to this location from another vacation spot in Florida and might not have access to email. They said they would send the information by email. We did receive an email from Vacation Rental Pros 4 days prior to arrival with the key code to access the cabin door, but again no mention or code provided for the entrance gate. We later discovered that another separate email from Vtrips was sent from which you had to access additional information including the gate code, but upon our initial arrival, we thought we must be in the wrong spot because there was no mention of a gate. This area is remote with no internet access and we had no cell phone service. We drove back into town where we could get service and called Jackson Mountain Homes to get directions. The lady we talked to gave good directions and when asked she said there was no gate. So, our second attempt to locate the cabin took us directly back to the gate. My wife was furious and was ready to head home. We again drove back into town and called them again. Spoke with a male this time who told us yes there is a gate and yes you need a code and here it is 1414#. It is about a 15-20-minute drive from town to this cabin and for us it may have been even longer because it was rainy and foggy. It took us about 3 hours from the first time we arrived at the gate until we were able to reach and gain access to this cabin. When we got in the cabin, we noticed there are no written instructions or information anywhere inside the cabin. The only information available is online, and guess what, if you don’t have internet access or cell phone service you’re out of luck. Why does this company make its customers jump through so many hoops just to get to this rental property? Why can’t all this information be handled with 1 contact, through 1 email or 1 app like VRBO? Due to limitations in this review I'm not able to describe the actual cabin.

The cabin was clean and nice enough. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. If two people slept in the bed they would roll together in the middle. Also, the view leaves very much to be desired. You don't feel like you are in the mountains. Lastly, the hot tub water smelled as if it had not been changed in a very long time.
