Established in 1957 by gospel music icon and former backup vocalist for Elvis Presley, J.D. Sumner, along with James Blackwood, the National Quartet Convention (NQC) has remained a beacon of harmony and spiritual inspiration. Over the years, this esteemed gathering transitioned from its origins to Nashville, TN, and subsequently to Louisville, KY, where it flourished for two decades. Today, NQC finds its vibrant home at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN, continuing its legacy of uniting enthusiasts in celebration of gospel music's timeless resonance.
