Fall Festival at Ober Mountain

Indulge in a month-long festivity that caters to the entire family! The Smoky Mountain Fall Festival at Ober Mountain invites you to join the revelry with a combination of music, delectable food, and an abundance of fun activities. This enchanting event takes place from Friday, September 29th, and continues until Saturday, October 28, 2023.

As the calendar turns to October, Ober Mountain becomes the hub for celebrating the changing seasons. It all commences with an awe-inspiring journey on the Ober Mountain Aerial Tramway. As you traverse 2.1 miles through the air, marvel at the breathtaking panoramas of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park – a view unparalleled by any other vantage point!

Once atop Ober Mountain, the Smoky Mountain Fall Festival begins its festivities on September 29 with the Full Moon Concert Series. Get ready to groove from 7pm to 9pm as Heart Breakers, a Heart Tribute Band, takes the stage in the Ober Mountain Special Event Lounge.

Prepare for a mountain of family-friendly enjoyment! Climb your way up Hay Mountain and gleefully slide down. Hop on a pedal bike to explore the hay track, or challenge your mind in the hay maze.

As part of the Fall Festival Celebration, culinary delights abound! Relish specialty items like a Schnitzel Sandwich, Ober Dunkel Brats, Pumpkin Spice Fudge, Pretzels with Yee-Haw Dunkel Beer Cheese, and Pumpkin Juice, among other treats. Raise your glass to an array of beers including German favorites like Hofbrau and Spaten, local East Tennessee brews from Yee-Haw Brewing Co, and more.

Throughout the festival, the Ober Mountain Ice Rink transforms into a skate party haven, illuminated by vibrant lights and soundtracked by a rink-side DJ providing concert-quality tunes.

Keep the excitement rolling with Friday Night Movie Nights under the stars, projected onto a 22’ LED digital screen. The lineup features:

The fun escalates with a weekend-long Giant Pumpkin Festival from October 20 to 22. Witness the artistic carving of colossal 1000 lb. pumpkins and participate in the excitement by casting your vote for the favorite carving creation!

The Ober Mountain Full Moon Concert Series concludes the month's festivities with a musical crescendo atop the mountain. On the agenda is Pandora’s Box, an Aerosmith Tribute Band, performing from 7pm to 9pm in the Ober Mountain Special Event Lounge.
