Park View 1
Where you'll be
Description
The rich wood interior decor suggests a rustic vibe, but Park View I combines both rural comfort and contemporary convenience. Here you will find two bedrooms, two baths, a laundry area, a fully stocked kitchen and a deck with bistro table and hot tub. The views are incomparable from this homey mountain chalet, spanning foothills and mountain ranges -- all within a quick drive of downtown Gatlinburg!
Begin your exploration of Park View I on the deck, where you are treated to rock-star views of the heavily wooded foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. One of the most beautiful places in the world is waiting for you here, with lush foliage that turns brilliant shades of red, orange and gold in fall. Songbirds perch on branches right beside this deck, spectacular skies change constantly, and the sweeping vista is simply awe-inspiring. The hot tub seats four very comfortably, pampering your muscles after a busy day in the park or downtown Gatlinburg. You'll love being in the open air, yet entirely private! And nothing is nicer than beginning every morning at the bistro table on the deck, sipping your coffee and counting your blessings!
Step indoors from the patio and find yourself in a spacious, cheerful mountain chalet, with wood flooring, walls and ceiling, not to mention a stone gas fireplace and plenty of bright windows. Park View I is cottage cozy, yet also boasts all the comforts you need, from a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player to a comfortable "sink right in" sofa and loveseat set. Everything is pristine and beautifully arranged, making the most of the space so that the kids can spread out their toys and projects while the grown-ups stretch out and get comfortable.
Park View I is open-plan, so you don't have to leave the group watching a movie in the living area to prepare a quick snack or refill drinks in the kitchen. A round table for four awaits you here, perfect for meals but also a great game center. Break out the Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride -- this quiet, pleasant place is just perfect for rediscovering the joy of family togetherness!
And while you're "in" for the evening, consider whipping up some yummy appetizers or frothy blender drinks. Even if you have vowed to enjoy Gatlinburg's superb restaurants while on vacation here, the well-appointed kitchen at Park View I is out to tempt you. The cupboards and cabinets are packed with dishes, utensils, cookware and chef's tools -- everything you would need to prepare anything from a quick fry-up for breakfast to a complete Thanksgiving dinner! Pick up some groceries on your way to the mountains and enjoy the convenience of homemade goodies throughout your stay.
Gatlinburg has so much to see and do that you will probably return home each night tired and ready to recharge, so you will really appreciate the bedrooms and baths at Park View I. The primary suite is a treasure, offering a king-size bed and plenty of storage space, not to mention a huge, four-person Jacuzzi in the spotless, roomy bathroom. Those hot jets of bubbly water will erase the last bits of tension from your body -- and the Jacuzzi sits beneath a big window, entirely private, with a stunning view! If you are traveling with small children, bring a handful of bath toys and let them frolic in the Jacuzzi before naptime, sunshine pouring in through the window. They will sleep better than you might have thought possible!
The second bedroom is equally comfortable, featuring a queen-size bed beside a large window, lots of handy storage and a dresser with a mirror and cubbies. This room is convenient to the second bathroom, which features a walk-in shower and a large vanity with lots of space for toiletries. All towel sets and linens are provided for every bed and bath at Park View I, and the full-size washer dryer in the cabin helps you keep everything clean and dry. Go ahead, let the kids splash through the creek or slide down a muddy slope in the park -- you can toss the dirty clothes in the washer anytime and not worry about waiting for them to finish!
Park View I is convenient to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Gatlinburg and a myriad of activities and entertainment, from the aquarium to Anakeesta. Here you'll find beauty at every turn, and so many ways to enjoy it! Book your stay at Park View I today and begin planning your Gatlinburg getaway!

This property was great! Location could not have been better, hot tub was amazing. My ONLY complaint is the beds they are not very comfortable however, for what you pay this place is a STEAL and I would absolutely stay again (I would just recommend bringing your own mattress pillow toppers)

My family and I stayed at the Park View #1 for a week in June 2015. We absolutely loved the view from the cabin. There were no obstructions of our view of the Smokey Mountains. We were visiting from Florida and were quite impressed with the mountains. The customer service from Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg was wonderful. When we arrived, the TV wasn\'t working, and the hot tub wouldn\'t get hot. I called for maintenance and they arrived within a couple of hours (while we were out) and fixed both situations. The cabin was beautiful, however the only two items that I will comment about are the pool table and the dressers in the bedrooms. The pool table needs new bumpers and new felt and the dressers in the bedrooms need to be updated because when you pull out the drawers, the rails underneath were broken so the drawers just fall out. That makes it difficult to put clothing into and take clothing out of the drawers. Both of these items will not stop my family and I from returning to Gatlinburg and renting a cabin again from Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Mountain Rentals makes it very easy to plan accommodations through their website. We used them for the first time last year, and stayed at beautiful Bluebird Point. This year however, we chose Parkview#1 due to availability. It was not quite up to the standard of Bluebird Point, except for the wonderful view. Parkview#1 cabin is comfortable and clean, though it does need a little maintenance attention
