Where you'll be
Description
All the natural beauty of the Tennessee woods is spread out before you when you stay at Country Oasis. Perched on a cliff with a great view of Lake Douglas and a private dock, Country Oasis is the ideal place for a relaxing getaway. Imagine breathing in the pine-scented air as you rock on the porch swing on the wraparound deck. Partly covered, the Country Oasis deck is a place where you’ll want to start and end each day. From Country Oasis you can easily drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Great Smoky Mountains National Park to fully partake of area attractions.
There’s plenty of flat parking outside of Country Oasis. Walk across the covered deck and into the open-concept main living area. Large windows and French doors let in lots of natural light along with your spectacular view. There’s central air-conditioning, satellite TV so you can share photos with friends back home.
Since the kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, you can make snacks without missing out on any of the fun and conversation in the living room. The Country Oasis kitchen has everything you need to prepare food you pick up at the grocery store. Gather your group around the dining table or, better yet, cook up some steaks on the charcoal grill and enjoy your meal out on the deck amid nature’s beauty. Take hikes in the woods, fish or play a round of golf on a nearby course. There are so many possibilities.
No matter how dirty your clothes get during your outdoor fun, you can always wash them in the Country Oasis laundry room. The cabin has two bedrooms that share a bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The primary bedroom has a TV and both bedrooms feature large comfortable beds.

The road in and out is very “backroad”. There were multiple trees down in the area. We are used to simile conditions, but other guests might like to know just how off the beaten path this place is. We loved the location on the water and the secluded nature of the house. The beds are super squeaky and could use replacing.

Make sure to bring flashlights or a battery lantern incase of a power outage. Also be prepared not to bath once the lights go out water runs on electric pump.
