The Smoky Mountain vistas from God’s View really are heavenly. You’ll definitely want to spend plenty of time on the two-bedroom home’s rear deck, listening to the trees rustle in the crisp breeze as falcons soar above the mountains. That’s why the deck, which stretches the width of the home, is outfitted with a pampering hot tub plus a table for four guests. And the views are just one reason you’ll love staying here.

With two primary bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a convenient half-bathroom to boot, God’s View accommodates two couples as comfortably as it does a family of four—and a pet or two as well. Each spacious bedroom includes a king-size bed and a flat-panel TV. Even more luxurious, each bathroom has a shower and a Jacuzzi. After you’ve spent the day hiking, skiing or biking, a long soak among the massaging jets of water will having you ready to hit the trails or the slopes all over again.

The living room offers relaxation of a different sort. Once you sink into its plush sofas, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a third flat-screen TV to keep you entertained, plus complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. On chilly winter evenings, the fireplace will cast a warm, welcoming golden glow over the room, very conducive to kicking back with a hot cocoa or an Irish coffee as you play Pictionary with the family, catch up on gossip with your friends, or plan the next day’s adventures.

For more-active entertainment, head upstairs to the game room. When you’re not competing at the air-hockey table, test your skills at the multigame arcade. There’s a pub-style table too, where you can play cards or simply hang out.

Because God’s View is less than 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll have a wealth of nearby restaurants to choose from, serving everything from steak to seafood, Chinese to Tex-Mex cuisine. When you do want to dine in, however, you’ll find the kitchen equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you could possibly need. And even if you do eat out, you’ll appreciate having a coffee maker to brew your morning wake-me-up, a blender for mixing margaritas or milkshakes and a refrigerator to keep wine and milk cold.

You could happily while away your entire stay without leaving God’s View. Watch the morning mist rise from the mountains while sipping a breakfast smoothie on the deck. Luxuriate in the hot tub between games of air hockey, dine alfresco as the sun sets or savor a nightcap beneath the star-studded sky. But you’ll surely want to take advantage of the home’s proximity to the local attractions as well.

For instance, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area is just a five-minute drive away. In winter you can ski, snowboard or snow tube. Year-round you can ice-skate, enjoy rides and visit the wildlife exhibit. The wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are only 10 minutes away. In addition to plenty of dining options, downtown Gatlinburg features Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mini golf, shops, a mountain coaster and more fun. And in less than a half-hour you can drive to the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios and shops, and to the neighboring town of Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters and go-kart tracks, among other attractions.

No matter how you spend your days, you’ll relish the glorious vistas, pampering amenities and entertainment options of God’s View. Book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it!

Couch and loveseat need cleaning or replaced. No kitchen chairs. Lack of tv stations.

It was a nice cabin with a game room and hot tub. Overall, it was clean and decent. It’s definitely high up in the mountains and the drive is steep and a bit scary. Definitely didn’t like driving it at night.

I travel a lot, especially around the south. It was just my husband and me and we wanted something small but nice, close to town. This place is about a 5-7 minute drive from town. It is very steep winding roads leading to the house and the driveway is almost vertical. We weren’t aware and ended up having to walk up the night we arrived because it was raining and our Camry started backsliding. Without the rain it probably wouldn’t have been an issue. The house is not private, you have neighbors on three sides and a partial view of the town, which was nice. The house is pretty nice, we could tell we were the first visitors of the year from an abundance of cobwebs under tables and inside cabinets. I didn’t spot any creepy crawlers though, so that was good. The beds are comfortable and the arcade is a great addition. Our biggest problem was the tv. The one in the living room didn’t work at all and there are only about 10 channels available. I usually wouldn’t complain about tv on a vacation, but during the rainy season after you get into the house all you want to do is curl up and watch a movie. The couches were old and uncomfortable and there were no dvds so we had nothing to watch. The jetted tub was the best part! If you’re looking for a quick cheap option, this is the house for you! I don’t think we would stay again. Next time we’re going to stay in town so we can walk everywhere.
