The Smoky Mountain vistas from God’s View really are heavenly. You’ll definitely want to spend plenty of time on the two-bedroom home’s rear deck, listening to the trees rustle in the crisp breeze as falcons soar above the mountains. That’s why the deck, which stretches the width of the home, is outfitted with a pampering hot tub plus a table for four guests. And the views are just one reason you’ll love staying here.

With two primary bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a convenient half-bathroom to boot, God’s View accommodates two couples as comfortably as it does a family of four—and a pet or two as well. Each spacious bedroom includes a king-size bed and a flat-panel TV. Even more luxurious, each bathroom has a shower and a Jacuzzi. After you’ve spent the day hiking, skiing or biking, a long soak among the massaging jets of water will having you ready to hit the trails or the slopes all over again.

The living room offers relaxation of a different sort. Once you sink into its plush sofas, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a third flat-screen TV to keep you entertained, plus complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. On chilly winter evenings, the fireplace will cast a warm, welcoming golden glow over the room, very conducive to kicking back with a hot cocoa or an Irish coffee as you play Pictionary with the family, catch up on gossip with your friends, or plan the next day’s adventures.

For more-active entertainment, head upstairs to the game room. When you’re not competing at the air-hockey table, test your skills at the multigame arcade. There’s a pub-style table too, where you can play cards or simply hang out.

Because God’s View is less than 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll have a wealth of nearby restaurants to choose from, serving everything from steak to seafood, Chinese to Tex-Mex cuisine. When you do want to dine in, however, you’ll find the kitchen equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you could possibly need. And even if you do eat out, you’ll appreciate having a coffee maker to brew your morning wake-me-up, a blender for mixing margaritas or milkshakes and a refrigerator to keep wine and milk cold.

You could happily while away your entire stay without leaving God’s View. Watch the morning mist rise from the mountains while sipping a breakfast smoothie on the deck. Luxuriate in the hot tub between games of air hockey, dine alfresco as the sun sets or savor a nightcap beneath the star-studded sky. But you’ll surely want to take advantage of the home’s proximity to the local attractions as well.

For instance, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area is just a five-minute drive away. In winter you can ski, snowboard or snow tube. Year-round you can ice-skate, enjoy rides and visit the wildlife exhibit. The wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are only 10 minutes away. In addition to plenty of dining options, downtown Gatlinburg features Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mini golf, shops, a mountain coaster and more fun. And in less than a half-hour you can drive to the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios and shops, and to the neighboring town of Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters and go-kart tracks, among other attractions.

No matter how you spend your days, you’ll relish the glorious vistas, pampering amenities and entertainment options of God’s View. Book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it!

Couch and loveseat need cleaning or replaced. No kitchen chairs. Lack of tv stations.

It was a nice cabin with a game room and hot tub. Overall, it was clean and decent. It’s definitely high up in the mountains and the drive is steep and a bit scary. Definitely didn’t like driving it at night.

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at God\'s View. While the house needs a few upgrades (the couches are broken down, the grill won\'t light and only half of the ceiling fans function), it was still nice to enjoy nature and each other. A couple of warnings: The driveway is very steep and some vehicles won\'t make it to the top. We watched several cleaning vehicles and guests next door park at the bottom and walk up. We didnt leave on the rainy days just in case our car wouldn\'t make it back up.. There is also a lot of bears so be sure to bring in all food items and lock your car doors! We learned bears can open your car door and they like mint! Our car was broken into for a box of mint gum and some disposable toothbrushes. There are also quite a few stairs to get to the front door so you will get your exercise! The hot tub was wonderful and unfortunately the view was obstructed by leaves, but the little bit we could see was pretty.

God\'s view was an amazing experience for me, my husband, my sister and her husband! I and my husband have stayed in Gatlinburg many times but we\'ve never stayed in a cabin located in the National Forest! It was quite the adventure because we saw several black bears. The amenities were few, but we really appreciated being able to unplug from the real world for 4 days, it was much needed!

Place is beautiful and in the woods. We seen 3 bear walk right across the front of the porch and driveway. However the driveway…. Small car can't get up it - it goes straight up then curves. SUV in all wheel drive was spinning wheels to get up it and it was dry pavement. Couldn't imagine wet!!
