Rivers Edge
Where you'll be
Description
Even those with physical challenges will be able to navigate Rivers Edge, as it is ADA-accessible. There’s a ramp making it easy to enter the home. Doorways are wide and there are two primary suites on the main floor with easy-to-access bathrooms, featuring roll-in showers and roll-under sinks.
Rivers Edge is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom, air-conditioned home that can accommodate up to eight friends or family when the sofa sleeper is used as a bed for two. When you walk into the great room, the wall of picture windows looking out on the woods and river will wow you. Glorious natural light flows in through these windows showcasing the glowing hand-rubbed pine walls of Rivers Edge. You’ll find plenty of comfortable furniture in this room, all perfectly arranged to give a great view of the stone, wood-burning fireplace and the large satellite TV next to it. You also have access to HBO and other movie channels along with a DVD and free Wi-Fi.
Through French doors, you’ll reach your deck where you’ll find a table and chairs along with a bubbly hot tub and a charcoal grill. You’ll no doubt spend many an hour enjoying the river and nature from this deck. After a day of horseback riding, golf or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, this hot tub will be just what the doctor ordered. If you’re dining at Rivers Edge, you may want to bring your meal out to the deck. Everything seems to taste its best in the mountain air.
You have a fully outfitted kitchen waiting for you at Rivers Edge. There’s plenty of prep space on the island and you’ll find all the pots, pans, appliances, gadgets and utensils you need to prepare your favorite recipes. If you’re not dining out on the deck, you can seat guests around your dining room table for six. If additional seats are needed, you can set four more places up at the breakfast bar.
Within Rivers Edge you have your own laundry room with a washer and dryer. Having access to these appliances makes keeping everyone in clean clothes so much easier. It sure beats running to a Laundromat!
No matter what the season, you’ll find plenty to do in and around Rivers Edge. Dollywood is a short drive away. You can also ride the ziplines and gondola in Gatlinburg. Hiking paths in Great Smoky Mountain National Park take you beside waterfalls and breathtaking vistas. Be sure to bring your camera! If you are planning to visit in winter, it’s wise to come in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, or at least have chains for your car. Winter roads can be icy and snow-packed in the colder months.
Whatever you do during the day, when night falls, you’ll be more than ready to slip off to your bedroom for a good night’s sleep. The two primary bedrooms on the main floor have king-size beds and French-door access to the deck in case you want to slip out to enjoy the river sounds at night. Each of these rooms features a dresser, nightstands with reading lamps and a personal TV. Both main-floor bedrooms also have Jacuzzi tubs along with a private bathroom for each.
Upstairs at Rivers Edge is the third bedroom suite. This lovely, secluded space has a wall of windows on the forest, a queen-size bed, dresser with a TV on top and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Bring your friends or family to Rivers Edge once and you’ll want to return year after year. It is that special. Make today the day you reserve your preferred dates at the cabin and start planning how you’ll make memories in this lovely home.

Rivers Edge is an amazing experience. It is a truly well built structure and well appointed. Full credit to Jackson Mountain Homes for its cleanliness and follow up during our stay.Full marks all around including location leaving reasonable access to several of my favorite trout spots on the Little Pigeon.

Cabin was more beautiful than the pics. Views were gorgeous and the sound of the river was so soothing. The only very minor negative was after the first night the DirecTV went out. We will definitely be back.

Very nice home. Very spacious. Place is near a few other homes but not a cookie cutter cabin in a bunch of cabins like others we saw there. It had the perfect atmosphere. Large window with view of river was beautiful! Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the area and house. Only downfall was floors could of been cleaner. I swept them myself with the broom.Â
