The main deck has a porch swing from which you can take in the mountain skyline while unwinding with a glass of wine, and the lower covered deck has outdoor dining furniture and an inviting hot tub. Inside, the gorgeous gourmet kitchen features plenty of workspaces, all the major appliances (and many of the minor ones!) and everything you need to whip up anything from a simple snack to a lavish brunch. Or if barbecuing is more your thing, fire up the charcoal grill and sit around the fire pit while you breathe in the fresh mountain air. The kids will love the rec room, where they can enjoy a movie on the enormous TV in theater-style chairs and assorted arcade games. You'll especially appreciate the handy kitchenette nearby!

Drakes Mountain Hideaway has four bedrooms and sleeps 15 guests. The main level has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, while the upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed with a futon and the loft has a day bed. Two bedrooms are downstairs, one with a bunk bed (single over double), the other with a queen-size bed. There is also a sleeper sofa for extra guests. One of the bedrooms also has access to a private balcony, and three full bathrooms mean no waiting in line for the shower in the mornings. There's even a washer and dryer, so you can pack light and save space in your suitcase for souvenirs.

Enjoy the ease and access of boating and fishing on Douglas Lake or take in Great Smoky Mountains National Park which offers hiking, biking, seasonal skiing and snowboarding.
