Between Here & There
Where you'll be
Description
Between Here and There overlook woodlands with a glorious view of the Great Smoky Mountains—a view you can enjoy to the fullest from the large wraparound porch. Savor a sunrise breakfast at the bistro table; watch the sunset as you kick back on a rocker, frosty drink in hand. Best of all, revel in a late-night soak in the porch’s hot tub, accompanied by the breeze rustling through the trees and a chorus of crickets punctuated by the hooting of owls. It’s truly magical!
More comforts await you inside. Once you sink into the plush living room sofa, you may never want to get back up! Fortunately, you can keep yourself entertained as you laze by watching a movie on the TV with cable and DVD player or by taking advantage of the free WiFi to surf the web. In winter you might want to pull up the rocking chairs closer to the stone-surround fireplace for an après-ski drink or simply to curl up with a good book.
The open floor plan means you can enjoy the crackle of the fire or keep an eye on the big game on TV even as you’re sitting down for a meal at the dining table, which seats six, or cooking in the kitchen. With a full suite of appliances (including a dishwasher), cookware, and tableware, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. Between Here and There has an outdoor grill as well—nothing says “fun family dinner” like a barbecue!
The game room can also double as a bedroom: It has bunk beds, with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The kids will probably beg you to let them sleep there! Another bedroom is only a few steps away. This one has a comfortable queen-size bed, its own TV, and a wingback chair nestled by the window—a perfect spot for admiring the view.
The primary suite is on the main floor, and how sweet it is! Prop yourself up on the pillows of the luxurious king-size bed and watch a double-feature on the TV with DVD player, or indulge in a massaging soak in the en-suite bathroom’s jetted tub—sheer bliss! Hopefully, you won’t be bringing any work with you, but if you do have to take care of a few things, you can make yourself at home at the bedroom’s desk.
Between Here and There has a second bathroom upstairs. You’ll arrive to find plenty of towels for both bathrooms and the beds all ready for you to slip under the covers. As an added convenience, the cabin has its own washer and dryer.
From the cabin, you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg in just 10 minutes, or you can park at the nearby trolley stop and let someone else do the driving! Also nearby are the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops; Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area; and Wild Bear Falls Water Park. And let’s not forget the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its miles of hiking, biking, and horseback-riding trails—there’s a reason it’s the country’s most popular national park. The attractions of Pigeon Forge, which include Dollywood, music revues, and outlet shopping, are also only minutes away.
When you stay at Between Here and There, your greatest challenge will be deciding what to do first! If that sounds like your kind of dilemma, then book your stay today. We look forward to seeing you!

Our family of 6 spent 3 nights here and thought the cabin was a great value for the money. The location felt somewhat remote but was a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the hot tub and air hockey table, and the kitchen table was a great size for the large board games that we brought. The cabin was extremely well-stocked, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. We were especially appreciative of the rechargeable flashlight that helped us get through a power outage during our stay. We will definitely consider renting this cabin again if/when we get to return to the Smokies.
