Enchanted View Lodge
Where you'll be
Description
The home’s two decks provide perhaps the best vantage points for reveling in the beauty of the mountains and the surrounding woodlands. Kick back on the handcrafted wood chairs, fresh-brewed coffee in hand, to admire the sunrise. Later, enjoy an alfresco meal on the picnic table with the singing of the birds as the perfect background music. And once the stars burst forth amid the night sky, luxuriate among the steamy water of the main deck’s hot tub while owls and crickets serenade. You’ll really feel at one with nature’s splendor.
You can also savor the views from the main floor’s great room, thanks to a double-height wall of windows. The abundant sunlight shows off the lustrous wood-planked walls and cathedral ceiling to perfection, while the gas fireplace adds a warm, golden glow. There’s plenty of room for everyone to settle back on the sectional sofa and watch a movie on the 42” flat-panel TV with cable and a DVD player or to gather at the dining table for a meal or a game of Monopoly.
The downstairs game room is another inviting space for spending time together. The regulation-size billiard table is the centerpiece of the room, but if pool’s not your game, you can try your hand at the multi-game arcade. Or maybe you’d rather relax by the game room’s fireplace with a hot cocoa, or play on the PlayStation 2, or take in a movie on the 47” TV. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained for hours!
Enchanted View Lodge’s prime location means you have plenty of nearby restaurants to choose. If you’d rather cook your own meals, though, you’ll be happy to know that the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, even if you plan to host a holiday feast. There’s a dishwasher too, and for added convenience, the house has a washer and dryer as well.
The 3 bedrooms are spread out, one on each floor, for maximum privacy. Each has a king-size bed, a TV with a DVD player, plenty of storage, and direct access to one of the three bathrooms. If you’re vacationing with other couples, you don’t have to worry about drawing the short straw when assigning bedrooms—they’re all equally luxurious! And if you have additional guests, the great room’s sofa opens into a bed for two, as does the sofa in the game room. All told, Enchanted View Lodge sleeps ten people.
Because Enchanted View Lodge is part of the Black Bear Falls Log Home Community, when you stay here, you have free access to the community’s amenities, which in summer include heated adult and kids’ pools. And year-round you’ll benefit from the home’s proximity to Gatlinburg’s many attractions. Less than fifteen minutes away is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, by car, by bike, or on horseback. Even closer is downtown Gatlinburg, home to an aquarium, mini golf, the Guinness World Records Museum, and a tram that’ll take you to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area. You’re also near the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of galleries, studios, and shops. And one town over is Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood, outlet shopping, music revues, and more.
However you spend your days, you’ll love returning to the comfort and beauty of Enchanted View Lodge. But don’t just take our word for it; book your stay today, and experience it for yourself!

We specifically asked if the Cabin was high, because someone in our party suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. They assured me it was low. not on a mountain. Well it was not. I was high and very dangerous together to. We had snow and we did not leave the cabin for a few days. We were scared to.

This is a great cabin has everything you need besides food - there was a problem with the door code that was fairly quickly fixed so we could get in and the hot tub was looking a little rough missing a headrest and buttons are wore out but the water was clean and hot - it\'s worth noting that there are other cabins about 20 feet away on both sides and one directly in your view of the mountains but I\'ve stayed in dozens of these and this is one of my favorites - close to everything if you feel like leaving but very steep roads in resort and driveways dont have enough room for 2 vehicles next to each other or to turn around so you will have to back out of a pretty sketchy driveway - all in all the good things far outweigh any of that and i\'m very happy the owners allowed us to enjoy it for a few days
